We are very proud of Sushiro Sushi Bar earning 3 “Best of” awards in this years Planet S Magazine readers poll.Best Sushi (9th year in a row) Best Server (way to go Aman! 2nd year in a row) and Best Japanese Restaurant, first time ever.

Also Duck Duck Goose earning Best Decor, Best Tapas, Best ‘Arty’ Ambience, and Best Appetizers. Very grateful to everyone who voted! We are pleased to be appreciated in such a public forum!

Japadogs for the Democratic Republic of Congo

We brought back our famous Japadogs to help raise funds for a great cause. Our good friend Christien is setting off for the Democratic Republic of Congo to re-build schools in his former neighborhood. Christien left mid-March and will be and will be documenting his experiences while visiting and aiding the people of the Congo for one month.

Schools in the area are in need of so many upgrades. Christien will be using your $1000 raised to help with the building of benches and a new roof at more than one school. Good luck and safe travels Christien!

Aman Saleh Wins Saskatoon’s Best Server

Thanks to everyone who voted in the recent Planet S poll! Aman won Saskatoon’s best server, Sushiro won best sushi, and placed in best japanese and second in best seafood, behind Red Lobster. It’s been a while since I’ve visited The Lobster but they must have improved there seafood, now of amazingly high quality and freshness!

Just like the Orlando Magic, Sushiro is looking for new team members!
